Goals!!!......meh.

Ok, so I got you all excited for the goals post and then left you hanging for a couple of weeks.  I am so sorry about that (not sarcastic)!  I am till putting together a post about goals but for now, I would like to report.
I have been at this weight loss thing for a couple of months now.  I have felt some changes.  Some clothes fit better and some clothes that didn't fit before are starting to.  The scale says I have lost 20 lbs.  I am excited about that.  Well, I am pleased with that.  I don't actually feel like I have lost that much and I am losing focus because of that.  It has been two weeks of no exercise.
So, to get myself out of this rut, I am going to plan new activities for this week that will help me to use up energy (aka exercise) without having to strap on running shoes and go to Memorial Park at 5:30 am.  This is what I have been doing and now I am dreading it. haha!  I will need to get back to running, I believe but for now, I believe I will be dancing with my daughter Cordie in our living room.  Now that actually sounds fun!!!

  2. Thanks, Boo? hehe. It wasn't really exciting at the time because I wasn't feeling it so much but now that I have started losing a little more, I am feeling a big difference. It is pretty exciting!

  3. I'm way late posting on this, but way to go you! I put on a lot of weight with baby and lost some initially, then put it back on, then lost, then gained. It's been frustrating. I'm starting to chart what I eat everyday and that seems to help. Getting in even small amounts of activity every day helps as well. The real villains are my cravings for cookies and chocolate! Looks like I may also start dancing around the living room!

    1. I know very well what you are talking about and I have experienced a similar cycle. It is very frustrating for me too and my sweet tooth is not helping me one bit. :/ I think I should keep better track of what I eat, like you do. That may be a big help for me. These days, cleaning the house is becoming my exercise. That and trying to make my daughter laugh. Good luck to us!
